The weather is beautiful this morning.

Linda and I are getting ready to go to the farmers market to buy some corn and tomato's. Then to Super Wal-Mart to get the rest of the groceries. I hate doing this, but alas, it is a necessity.

We are planning on having cream corn, tomato's and corn bread for dinner tonight. This is one of our all time favorite meals.

More later today.

Wow. Two days in a row putting something on here.

I'm on a roll.

Worked most of the day on getting the www.diningdeal.com website up and running.

Had our monthly staff meeting. The Fun Committee did a slide show presentation of the Phat Friday party we had in May. I took all the pictures and Matt Pencola did a commentary on them. It was hilarious. Everybody was doubling over in laughter. I'm just glad I was the one that took the pictures.

Dan and Cait did some roller blading tonight. They are very good at it. Especially Daniel. I think he is going to be very athletic.

Joy is here right now and Linda is showing her the latest picture album she has done.

Guess that is all for tonight. Looking forward to doing nothing over the weekend.

Hello.....
Is anyone still there?
I went to sleep on the night of March 6th and I wake up and find out it's July 10th. What happened?

OK. I don't guess anyone will really believe that.

I confess, I have been extremely lazy and non-productive. At least as far as keeping my blog goes.

I'm going to try and be better about this though. I owe it to my ancestors. I just know they will be poring over these texts and trying to analyze just who this particular descendent was. What made him tick? What was his life like?

What has happened since March 6th when I last wrote?

We moved from High Point to Greensboro in late March. We love it in our new place. The kids are happy also.

The weather has been extremely wet. Lots of rain. Now it is hot.

There, that's about it. You're all caught up.

Now I'll just try to be better about keeping this blog up.

Last Tuesday, I had a colonoscopy. Everything looked good. At least as good as your colon can look. Can't be a pretty sight even under the best of circumstances. Preparing for it is the worst. There is only one way to clean out your colon and you know what that entails. Loads of laxatives. Loads of fun. Not.

Today, I worked on the dining deal promotion we are starting up at the radio stations next week. Mike Helsabeck and I went and talked to Abbey Mountain Archery today about their participation in our What Guys Want Expo in November. It was a good call.

Visited the Rib Fest sponsored by the Greensboro Jaycees tonight. Then came home.

Hopefully I'll be better about keeping this up. We'll see.
