More on new talk station

Saw Ogi's column today in the GGO lamenting the fact that his beach music on 920 AM was being displaced with news talk programming. He wondered why the AM and 101.1 FM were planning on simulcasting their news talk programming. The rumor I have heard, and again this is just a rumor, is that when the FM goes news talk, the AM is going to become a spanish formatted station.

Another rumor I heard today is that Leanne Petty, who did news on WMAG for many years is coming back from Pittsburgh to do news on the new 101.1 news talk station.

Going to be fun to see which rumors pan out and which ones don't.
